START WITH THE RECEIVING STANDARD

Choose Blueberries by Berry Type, Size and Final Use

Whole-berry presentation depends on more than diameter. Buyers should define berry type, size consistency, bloom or skin condition, broken fruit and thawed performance.

01

Berry identity

Confirm cultivated or wild direction, declared origin and the product description used in the specification.

02

Size and whole fruit

Set the diameter band, whole percentage and broken or crushed tolerance for the receiving sample.

03

Color and bloom

Review natural blue-purple color, surface bloom and discoloration against the application.

04

Thawed behavior

Test juice release and texture where berries remain visible in bakery, dairy or retail use.

PACKING FOR THE WAY YOU BUY

Packing and Applications for Blueberries

Whole berries require careful case-weight and loading choices; puree or juice needs a pack suited to dosing and frozen handling. Retail programs add film, artwork, coding and case-mark approval.

QUESTIONS BUYERS ASK US

IQF Frozen Blueberries Buyer FAQ

Use these answers to prepare your product inquiry. The quotation states product availability, specification, packing and delivery timing.

Do you supply cultivated and wild blueberries?

We coordinate cultivated or wild direction according to the order and available China supply route. The quotation states the identity that applies; it is not assumed across all lots.

What whole-blueberry size is available?

The working master includes an 8–18 mm diameter reference. State the desired band and allowable off-size percentage so current availability can be checked.

How is broken fruit controlled?

Define a whole berry, set the broken or crushed tolerance and agree the sampling basis. An approved frozen sample can support the visual standard.

Can blueberries be supplied for bakery use?

Yes. Share the mixing, bake, color and piece-visibility requirements so we can compare whole-fruit condition and size with the application.

Will blueberries release juice after thawing?

Some juice release is natural. Where it affects dairy, dessert or retail appearance, test the proposed lot or sample in the actual use and agree the evaluation method.

Can you supply puree or juice?

We can review crushed fruit, puree and juice routes. Confirm screen or filtration, seed and skin tolerance, pack format and dosing needs.

What private-label details should I send?

Provide net weight, film structure, artwork, label language, barcode, case marks, pallet requirements, destination and forecast.

How do I request documents?

List the specification, certification, COA, microbiological, residue or contaminant, packing and shipment records your approval process needs. We confirm applicability before order approval.
